Abstract
Adenoid cystic carcinoma(ACC) is the most common malignant lesion that arises from the lacrimal gland. ACC usually grows slowly and tends to have a protracted course with a poor outcome. Radical orbitectomy and postoperative radiation therapy remain the mainstay of the treatment of ACC. This tumor is extremely rare, and its complete follow-up is not easy to perform due to its protracted clinical course. For this reason, more experience and discussion of ACC are mandatory for the accurate assessment of treatment outcome. We report herein a case of lacrimal gland ACC.
